Range of the Mercury Avator 110e

With the battery options of the 11 kW electric motor from Mercury, you have full flexibility. It mainly depends on how heavy your boat is and at what speed you want to travel. Here are a few real-life examples with a 400 kg boat:

→ Under full load, four of the 5.4 kWh batteries (21.6 kWh) from the Mercury Avator 110e last just under 1.5 hours, and the boat reaches a maximum speed of 34 km/h. The range was 56 km.

→ At 1/3 power (4,000W), you can enjoy the driving pleasure with the 110e for over 3.5 hours on the water at a cruising speed of 13 km/h and a range of 70 km.

→ Those who love more leisurely trips on the water can go significantly further with less power. At 1/8 power (1,600W), the battery lasts about 4 hours, and the boat reaches approximately 8 km/h. In total, this means a range of 108 km on just one battery charge.

Mercury Avator 110e Display

The standard integrated GPS module shows you in real time the speed and estimated distance until the battery is "empty". Of course, other important information such as battery level, power consumption, warning messages and remaining runtime can also be seen.

The clear color display has 4 brightness levels and can be easily read in bright sunlight (highest level) or in the dark (lowest level). In the tiller version, the display is firmly integrated into the outboard and is already included in the delivery. For console boats, there are three optional displays: an adjustable pedestal display or an elegant, flush-mountable version for left or right

Mercury Avator 11 kW - Charger & Charging Time

The Mercury 110e electric motor does not include battery and charger. Suitable for the 2300 Wh battery, there is a 230 watt charger with a charging time of around 10 hours - provided the battery is completely empty.

If you need faster charging times or use more than one battery, you can also switch to a faster 520 W charger. Then the charging time is only 4 hours for one battery. All you need to charge is a normal household socket. The charger has colored LED lights for the current status (error messages).

When you need to get to where a prop won't take you, get an F90 Jet Drive. This 90hp engine is a marine-inspired 4-stroke that's as much as 50% quieter than a conventional 2-stroke, and up to 30% more fuel efficient, too. Yamaha's completely redesigned, 1.8-liter F90 Jet Drive four stroke produces 65hp at the pump. Its compact, light-weight SOHC four-cylinder, in-line design features a long-track induction system and Yamaha’s proprietary YDC-30 aluminum alloy. This creates a light, compact, powerful outboard for deck boats and deep-V hulls navigating shallow, rocky rivers.

Yamaha’s Jet Drive four strokes, can boldly go where no propped outboard would dare. Shallows. Rocky-bottom rivers. Shoals. White-water rapids. They’d all prove treacherous for a propeller-driven outboard, but a jet drive is all over it. Prop-free, you can “off-road” without worrying about breaking a prop on rocks and other underwater obstructions.
